Welcome to DKO designs. We are a home- based enterprise that combines traditional crochet with contemporary design to make innovative clothing and accessories, plus a few other bits and pieces along the way. We hope you enjoy looking at our designs.

Mimi – Manager

Mimi, also known as the femme fatail,  started her career young as a model on the catwalk, but it didn’t suit her shy and reclusive nature. As our Manager she takes a very paws on approach and can often be found up to her neck in yarn.

Emma – Designer

Emma is our designer. She started hooking as a teenager, then had a career in advertising which was followed by a quest to become a “real” writer. She has crocheted original designs for years but only just started writing them down.

 

Olive – Finance/ Teaching (RIP)

Olive’s background is working for charities, most notably the RSPCA, and her role is primarily financial. Not being a hooker herself, she is keen to learn and is now heading up our “Learn to Crochet” program.

Typsy – PR Manager

Typsy comes to us with 18 years experiencing in prrrrrrrrrrrrring and we look forward to working with her.

Amanda – Photographer .

Amanda’s background is in nursing, but her role with us is primarily photography. As well as taking great pictures, she is a lot of fun and often reminds us us not to take ourselves too seriously.
